Race for the Cure Dallas!
In order to get more involved in a great cause, and more in shape by default, a close friend and I are prepping for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I'm a marathon newbie, so I we are starting with the 5k in order to raise money for this incredible organization. Not only will I be in better shape for Italy by the time the October race rolls around, but I will have helped raise awareness and funding for women who shouldn't be dying of a disease that we can prevent and hopefully cure. Get involved and understand more about breast cancer! Five o'clock in the morning could not come sooner, so I am taking my shoes that I just got from Luke's Locker and turning the lights out!

Baby, Don't Worry
Up since six a.m. in search for the stepping stones leading to the all bright and shining dream career and stuck in a resume writers block of sorts, I am catching up on Dave Chappelle's Block Party because I am just getting around to watching it. Thank you MTV2. You are finally good for something. Also on the list today: planning an itinerary for our Italy trip! After a little research, I am now aware ex-cons are working in Naples as tourist guides, so while I am by no means judging their development or character, I'm pretty sure that I will be well-versed in the cobblestones and lamp lights of the upcoming excursion. If this block keeps up, I just may have to swim a few laps in pool. I'm perfecting the dog paddle today.
